FerroReg participated in the second day of the “Connect” Conference, organized by the Association “Svetlost” Šabac and Job Info Center, Šabac, held from September 26 to 27, 2024 in Šabac. Members of the FerroReg team, dr Aleksandra Stankovic and dr Maja Živkovic, had presentations in the “Women’s Corner” session, with the aim of presenting the role of women in science and applying to scientific projects and promoting and disseminating of the FerroReg project, program IDEAS. After the conference, we discussed further cooperation with the association “Svetlost” and joint application for future projects. The atmosphere was pleasant. And the attendance by young people thinking about their future in science and employment was exceptional. There were a lot of interesting questions to which I hope we gave satisfactory answers and invited them to visit us in Institute Vinca, to familiarize them with the Laboratory for Radiobiology and Molecular Genetics and the results of the FerroReg project in more detail.
